These terms cover the wavewellness.app website and the Wave Wellness app on iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad and the web. Wave Wellness is made and run by Wave Agency ("we", "us"), 200 Broadhollow Road, Suite 207, Melville, NY 11747. By using the site or the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use either.
What Wave Wellness is, and is not
Wave Wellness is a general wellness app. It shows you your own sleep, movement, food, recovery and mood, and estimates such as a daily score, camera-scan readings and a Wave Age. None of it is medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment, and it is not a medical device. Always talk to a doctor or another qualified professional about your health, and never ignore or delay professional advice because of something the app or this site says. In an emergency, call 911.
Accounts and invitations
At launch the app is invite-only: joining the waitlist puts you in line for an invitation but does not guarantee one by any particular date. Wave Wellness is for adults, 18 and over. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address, so keep that inbox secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time, and we can close an account that breaks these terms.
Free, always
The app is free. There is no subscription, no upgrade wall and no card to enter. Features may change as we improve the app, and we may add or retire them.
Using it fairly
Please do not misuse the app or the site: no breaking or probing the service, no scraping, no reverse engineering beyond what the law allows, no using someone else's account, and nothing unlawful, abusive or harmful to other people. Only enter data about yourself.
Your content, and ours
Your data is yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the app for you, as the privacy policy describes; we never sell, share or license it. The site, the app, their design, text, code, name and logo belong to Wave Agency. Screens shown on this site use sample data for illustration.
Advertising
The app carries some advertising on its lifestyle screens. Ads are contextual: they are placed by the screen they appear on and, if you choose ad interests in Settings, by those choices alone. They are never targeted using your health data, never shown beside a result, a lab value or your Wave Age, and an advertiser receives counts of impressions and taps and nothing about who saw them.
Privacy
How we handle your data is set out in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
No warranty, and limits
We work hard to keep the app accurate and available, but it is provided as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available or error free, and readings from a phone camera or a wearable are estimates. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app or the site.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will say so in the app or by email before the change takes effect. The date at the top is the date of the current version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any dispute will be heard in the courts of New York.
